C++ is OOP language developed by Bjarne Stroustrup at AT &  T Bell laboratories in 1983. Simula was the Frist object-oriented language; it was developed during 1960s By Kristen Nygaard and Ole Dahl. Bjarne Stroustrup wantedto incorporate the “class construct ” feature of Simula 67 language to C; hence Stroustrup had initially given the name “C With classes”  to C++ , Which is a superset of C. In 1983, the name was changed to C++. The name derives from the post-increment operator ++ of C, Which is used to increment the value of operand by one (C++ means C plus 1); Therefore,C++ is an C++ adds on to C are classes, inheritance and polymorphism, which make C++ a truly OOP language.
The addition of new features has transformed C from a top-down, structured design, to a bottom-up, object-oriented design.C++ can be used to write procedural code as well as object-oriented code .

C 1983 में AT & T बेल प्रयोगशालाओं में Bjarne Stroustrup द्वारा विकसित OOP भाषा है।

नई सुविधाओं के अलावा ने सी को एक टॉप-डाउन, स्ट्रक्चर्ड डिज़ाइन से एक बॉटम-अप, ऑब्जेक्ट-ओरिएंटेड डिज़ाइन में बदल दिया है। सी को प्रक्रियात्मक कोड के साथ-साथ ऑब्जेक्ट-ओरिएंटेड कोड लिखने के लिए उपयोग किया जा सकता है।
